FPMC Officer Responsibilities
President: Acts as the chief executive officer of the club with overall responsibility for all activities. Shall preside over the meetings of the board of directors and general membership meetings.

Vice President: Acts for the president when the
president is not available or unable to serve.

Secretary: Responsible to the president and
the board of directors for maintaining the records of the club, with the
exception of those records pertaining to financial activities. Records shall
include the minutes of the general membership meetings, any formal meetings of
the board of directors, club membership files, rosters and other club records,
as required. The secretary shall also be responsible for incorporating duly
enacted amendments and changes into the bylaws and shall also prepare and issue
the Nonprofit Corporation Annual Report to the secretary of state. The
secretary assures the club remains chartered with the Academy of Model
Aeronautics and that it also retains its status as a nonprofit corporation
under the provisions Section 24.03 of the Revised Code of Washington.

Treasurer: Responsible to the president and board of directors for managing the financial affairs of the club and for maintaining the financial records of the club, including an inventory of the club’s physical assets. The treasurer shall collect all monies and other things of value due, payable or donated to the club and disburse club funds as determined by the Board of directors. The treasurer shall maintain the club checking account and shall report disbursements and the account balance at membership meetings. |
Safety Officer: Responsible for the overall
safety program of the club. The safety officer shall chair the safety committee, if established
and ensure that flight and ground operations at the club field are conducted in accordance
with the Official AMA National Model Aircraft Safety Code and the FPM Special Field
Regulations.

Field Marshall: Responsible
for field maintenance, field layout and operations for contests and other club
or public events. The field marshal shall chair the field committee, if
established.

Newsletter Editor: Responsible for publishing and distributing the monthly newsletter to the membership using a media the membership has chosen, hard copy, electronic, or both. A hard copy shall be used for communicating to the membership proposed amendments to the bylaws and notification of a recall vote.

Web Site Administrator: Responsible for updating and maintaining club
information on the Web Site. Shall also be responsible for technical
maintenance of the site and for assuring that appropriate technologies are in
place that will allow club members to easily access the site on a regular
basis.
