GENERAL
Officers attending: Ed Bailiff, Judd Parks, Fred Elliott, James Newsome, Art Newland and Jack Martin. 19 members attended. The minutes of the July 2010 meeting were accepted.
· Jack Martin – Safety Coordinator: The Annual Memorial fly-in for ducted fans was a success in spite of the unusually hot weather. $256 was raised for charity
NEW BUSINESS:
· Fred Elliott – Secretary: Suggested rounding the $256 raised for charity from the Annual Memorial Fly-in to $300. The $44 will come from club funds – approved. The $300 will be donated to the Ray Hickey Hospice
· Ed Bailiff – President: Requested that Saturday, September 25 be a field maintenance day with 2 specific maintenance to items to be accomplished – removal of the barbed wire fence east of the runway and placement of a mat overlay on the north end of the runway - approved
· Jerry Holcomb: Requested the Fall Electric Event be held at the FPM field on September 18 and 19 – approved
· Judd Parks – Vice President: Requested that the 2010-211 Northwest Club Racing events be planned from the second week in October 2010 through April 2011 - approved
